Footballer Fakes Injury To Escape Arrest

Enner Valencia – the Ecuadorian national footballer and Everton forward (on loan from West Ham United) just conducted one of the more daring police arrest ever and it was all captured on camera as a video.

Valencia who was on international duty for Ecuador was actually apprehended by police when the team bus arrived but somehow wriggled free and played the match for the national team against Chile until stoppage time. Then, he feigned injury and was stretchered out on a golf cart with an oxygen mask while police were waiting on the sidelines to capture him.

His team mates argued with police to buy precious time for him to escape. This allowed his law to quash his warrant of arrest. Ah well.. see the video here:
